The beta guide

From upload to a closer look.

A short guide to your first check in the Artlint workspace.

1. Add your video

Sign in, choose your workspace, and open Videos. Select Upload video, then choose an MP4, MOV, or WebM file. The current limit is 2 GiB and 10 minutes per upload. Wait for source preparation to finish before starting a check.

2. Review your Normal Check

Open the video and select New Normal Check. Review the available scope and coverage before you confirm. Visual screening depends on the workspace’s analysis configuration. Your workspace sets the credit rate per started source minute. The quote shows the total charge before you accept the run.

Normal Check is called quick in existing internal API records. This is the same beta mode. Deep Check is not available yet.

3. Inspect the findings

When the run completes, review its potential issues and source-frame evidence. Use playback to navigate, and original source frames for a closer inspection. Mark your review decisions and export the report if needed.

4. Check the coverage, too

“No issues flagged” describes the outcome of completed checks. Unsupported, skipped, failed, or incomplete checks are shown separately. A clear report does not guarantee that the video is flawless or establish whether it was AI-generated.

Declared origin shows what the file’s own metadata says about how it was made, such as C2PA Content Credentials. It reports what the file declares and is not a detection result. Editing tools and platforms often remove this metadata, so its absence says nothing about the video.

Before you upload

Read Data & privacy for current processing and retention limits. Turnaround depends on the source and configuration; there is no published completion-time guarantee.
